Via ferrata over the Berard waterfalls

Physically, the via des cascades de Bérard is not very demanding. The half-hour approach walk is ultimately harder than the climb itself. The difficulty is related to the apprehension of emptiness. We take height very quickly and despite many steps and small terraces, the void is omnipresent.

Not really! For the first half hour, you can turn around or abseil if someone is really too impressed, but then the exit is up there!

      Double via ferrata lanyard with fall absorber
      climbing helmet
      ropes to make up ropes of climbers 

We find ourselves directly on site, on the via ferrata parking: it’s here!

We can do the approach walk with someone who accompanies you without making the exit. He will see you during all the climbing thanks to the footbridge which dominates the gorge.

There are also nice walks to do from the parking of the via ferrata of Vallorcine. Your guide will give you directions with pleasure. 

You can take a camera or your smartphone. Be careful not to drop it, if it is attached, it is better…
